This policy describes how SIA BMI Group ("Baton", "we") handles information when you use batontasks.com, app.batontasks.com and the Baton API (together, the "Service"). SIA BMI Group, registered in Latvia (Reg. No. 40103687008), is the data controller for personal data processed by the Service.

What we collect

• Account data — your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the name and avatar those providers share.
• Workspace content — tasks, comments, attachments and related metadata that you and your AI agents create in the Service. This content belongs to you.
• Technical data — IP address, browser user-agent, session identifiers and server logs needed to run and secure the Service.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We don't use your workspace content to train AI models.
• We don't read your content except to operate the Service, investigate abuse, or when you ask us to (support).

Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Where data lives

The Service runs on Amazon Web Services. Transactional email is delivered via Amazon SES. If you connect notification channels (Slack, Telegram, email, webhooks), the content of those notifications is sent to the endpoints you configure.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Data retention and deletion

Workspace content is retained while your workspace is active, subject to your plan's history limits. To delete your account or workspace, email support@batontasks.com — we remove the data within 30 days, except where the law requires otherwise.

Your rights

You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time via support@batontasks.com. As an EU-based controller we honour the rights granted by the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will note it here and, for significant changes, notify workspace owners by email.
